Remembering Gaza today!

| |

Today is the one year anniversary when Israel launched its brutal war on the Gaza Strip. Please remember to think of the Palestinians who suffered through this awful attack. If you can, we will be meeting at Midvalley Shopping Mall, Center Court, at 11am and will be having a 1 minute silence at 12pm to think and pray for all those that were killed, injured, and still suffering today due to the inhumane blockade.

For those of you who can't make it, wherever you are, you can join us by having a 1 minute silence at 12pm. Plus for those of you who have the Palestinian scarf, please wear it. If someone asks you why, tell them :)

We need to join together in order to tell the world that what happened was an atrocity to humanity, illegal and that the siege must end in order for the Palestinians in Gaza to have a chance to rebuild their lives. As I am writing this, the Viva Palestina convoy is still stuck in Jordan and Egypt is not giving them permission to enter into Gaza to deliver the over 200 trucks of medical and humanitarian aid that was donated from people all over the world, including Malaysia. This is very much needed aid by the people that is only a few hours away and it can't get to them.

We have to take a stand that the people in Gaza are just like you and I and have the right to live.
Location:Mid Valley Shopping Mall/Everywhere
Time:11:00AM Sunday, December 27th
